I’ve been a little absent from blogging for a couple of weeks because it’s been busy busy around our house. Our oldest just finished his kindergarten year and it was fun watching him grow and learn. It is hard for me to believe that our once little squishy man is now a big first grader. I am wrapping up my 9th year of teaching and we are preparing for our family vacation to Disney in 10 days! We are beyond excited. It sure does take a lot of planning for Disney but will be worth it when we are there.
There are a lot of fun events coming up around Columbus this summer and can’t wait to share them with you. We are not able to make it to the Arts Festival this year but you should considering going. It is June 9-11 downtown and the kids area is awesome.
Columbus Commons for kids starts this Friday, June 2, and is from 10:00-1:00. It is a free event almost every Friday and my boys love going!
We will also be visiting the area splash pads, participate in the Columbus library summer reading program, story time at Barnes and Noble, and frequent trips to the Zoo and COSI. We are hoping to try different places to eat with our boys and try new parks. If you have any suggestions for us as well, please share! I will keep up to date on our adventures and fun throughout the summer!
