Spring break is one day away and I am ready to have some time with my boys. I have compiled a list of activities and places that we plan to do and visit throughout Columbus in the week we are on break.
Egg Hunts
We will start our week of fun with attending some egg hunts over the weekend. You can read all about them here.
Ohio History Center Spring Break ThawWe love exploring the Ohio History Center and are excited for this fun event. I love the special hours that they will be opened and the Ice Age themed activities that are planned. There will even be a snack shop set up. Here is more information about the event from the website.

Ohio History Center, Columbus
Enjoy special spring break hours Weds., Mar. 14 to Sun., Apr. 8 as the Ohio History Center is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day (except for April 1) – including Mondays and Tuesdays! Celebrate the end of winter with our special Ice Age-themed programming. Throughout the week you can explore the museum with ice-age themed scavenger hunts, see bones from ice-age mammals and learn more about what Ohio was like more than 11,000 years ago. On the weekends, special guest Ice Age scientists and historians will share their knowledge with you during the programs listed below. As always, Ohio History Connection members enjoy free admission!
If you’re in need of food during your spring break visit, Taste of Country will have a pop-up cafe on the Plaza Level of the Ohio History Center. Taste of Country will be open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the duration of spring break hours. They will have a variety of salad, wraps, sandwiches and sweet treats for sale.
We love COSI and enjoy the Kids Space the most. Read about our adventure on a previous post here.
Firefly is our favorite play cafe. The space has a climbing structure, bounce house, and ample toys for all age ranges. I love that I can sip on yummy coffee and enjoy free wifi while the boys play and run about. It is a great place for the boys to release energy. They always come home tired and are ready to rest.
We are hoping to have the chance to pop into World of Bounce or try a new indoor play place. These are a few of our plans and I am sure there will be a day or two where we stay in our pajamas and watch movies. What are your spring break plans?
