Do you need a girls night? A creative date with your significant other? Or, maybe a fun craft time with your kids or family! The perfect spot for all of these occasions is AR Workshop Grove City.
I have had the opportunity to experience a workshop at a couple different AR locations, but I have to say the Grove City AR Workshop by far exceeds all the rest.
Bonnie who is the lovely owner and her best friend Jeni take pride in their shop and it shows. The space is laid out beautifully with huge work tables, numerous projects posted around for inspiration, a paint bar, a sparkle bar (because who doesn’t love sparkles), and several stain colors to choose from.
Bonnie and Jeni are very friendly and super knowledgeable in making sure your project looks it’s best. They also take the time to get the stencil you use for your project fully prepared. It’s a game changer to not have to pick out every little piece of stencil before you start your project. It’s a very nice and sweet touch.
So, what does a workshop consist of? First, head to the calendar on the AR Workshop Grove City website and find a day and time that works for you.
After you pick your time the hard part comes! Trying to decide which project to make! I choose the This is Us sign and had a frame put around it. I loved what it said and that it had the title of my favorite tv show in it. There are projects for anything you can think of and most of them can be personalized.
When you get to the workshop your project will be laid out on the table. Bonnie and Jeni will walk you through all of the steps. Sanding, staining, applying the stencil, painting, and assembling if needed. In the end you will walk away with a beautiful project that you created! Even if you have no artistic or DIY skills, your project will be beautiful and turn out fantastic. I promise!
I loved how my sign turned out and will be hanging it above the bed in the bedroom. Perfect for my husband and I.
I am looking forward to coming back soon and bringing the boys to one of their make-n-take events. Every month they have a day where you can pop in and make a project or two around $10.00. Each month is a different theme and perfect for children to make and a fun family activity. Always check the calendar to see the theme and when it is.
I truly had the best time at AR Workshop Grove City and I want to thank Bonnie and Jeni for hosting me. I highly suggest attending a class at the Grove City Location. You will not be disappointed!
