Well folks, we made it through the first week of the quarantine. This is going to be our new normal for awhile and despite some of it being stressful or even worrisome, I am blessed to have this time with my boys and make as many good memories as we can.
This morning I ran and got a take out order at our local Sunny Street Cafe for breakfast. They are having this weekend deal for kids where you can get a Dino pancake with different toppings and a goodie bag for each kiddo. The boys love the Dino pancakes and had a fun time getting to top their pancakes with yummy treats. The goodie bag had several activities, tattoos, a coloring sheet, and candy. It was a hit with them and I’m sure we will do it again next weekend.
We spent the rest of the day lounging in our pjams and playing. The boys built with Legos for a long time and created a Florida Everglades animal adoption center in the playroom. It amazes me the amount of creativity and imagination they have. It’s always a fun adventure.
