It’s Wednesday! We are halfway through week two of the covid-quarantine. Today it was beautiful outside and the boys had the chance to ride their bikes and get energy out while Chris grilled out some hamburgers.
Today the hubby ran to get some groceries during an early morning team member shopping hour and then picked up some yummy carry out donuts for us.
The younger two and I made my Grandma’s Christmas cut out cookie recipe. Tomorrow we will bake and decorate them. The dough needs to chill and I like to make it the day before to let the dough get all happy. I love that I have a copy of her recipe with her handwriting. She changed the “secret” ingredient to lemon instead of almond and it makes the cookies taste amazing. I can’t wait to bake and decorate with them tomorrow.
The rest of the day was spent relaxing and playing. We also did our taxes today and are glad to get a nice return.
Always look for the bright spots in every day.
Stay healthy, stay home, make memories, and wash your hands.
