Today was a beautiful and insanely windy day. The boys wanted to go outside to ride bikes and since the sun was shining I thought it would be fun to take pictures in their matching Easter shirts.
The bike riding and the pictures didn’t go as planned because of the extreme wind, but we still had fun and got some good laughs out of it.
I’ve been having a little afternoon ritual to give myself a pick me up and a cozy smile. I make myself a cup of coffee, froth some yummy creamer, and sit down and enjoy it as much as I can for just a little bit. Today I also had one of the cookies we made the other day. If you don’t have a frother at home, I highly suggest getting one! I use it to froth my favorite flavored creamer and then pour into the coffee. It’s delicious!
Bigman and I have been playing a lot of the game Bears Vs. Babies and he is getting really good at it! He’s beat me the past three times and he’s super proud of it!
I am glad that I was able to have some quiet me time and watch the return of one of my favorite shows Call The Midwife.
Tomorrow we start week three of our home from school and stay home order. The boys had spring break this past week and tomorrow it’s back to routine and our lessons. I’m glad it’s starting back up because a routine and lessons will be good for us.
I know that with all of what is going on in the world we are blessed to be where we are and we got this!
