Today we painted a fun scene on our front door from the movie Home. My hubby found the idea on Facebook and drew it on the door. My oldest son and I then painted it in. We wanted to bring some smiles and fun to the neighborhood. It says, “Can we come in to the out yet ?!” We love how it turned out.
After the boys completed their school lessons we relaxed and had taco Tuesday for dinner.
When dinner was over my mom and dad stopped by to drop off a bike they got for Middleman. They put the bike on the sidewalk, stepped back and then I came out and Lysoled the whole bike. He than got on and rode around.
He was so excited and I am glad Nana and Papa were there to see his reaction and do this for him.
Before they left they gave air hugs and giant waves out the car window. It’s hard that the boys can’t physically touch them with hugs and we can’t spend time with them, but it’s all for a good reason. To keep us as safe as possible. We will get through this and be stronger and closer because of it. We can do hard things.
