Day 28-29: Coronacation

The past two days have been filled with some much needed but still socially distant fun for us!

Middleman wanted to make the hard boil eggs all by himself. So I showed him how to make them with the Instant Pot. They turned out great!

We were so excited to have our picture taken for the Cbus Front Step Project and I just love how they turned out! We decided to stay in our pjams because this is what we’ve been living in for the past couple of weeks and wanted to capture that in this moment of time. We are safe, we are healthy, we are together, and we are comfortable in this crazy time of life.

I was so excited to be able to pick up some much needed mom fuel from one of my favorite coffee places! Winan’s originated in Piqua, Ohio which is where I grew up, and has made it’s way to Columbus. The coffee and the chocolates are perfection!

I ran in real quick to Trader Joe’s to get Littleman’s favorite yogurt that he has been begging for. I loved the socially distant sign at the beginning of the store and appreciated that they only let a couple in at a time and scrubbed down the carts before they gave it to you .

We went to Easton Town Center and did a drive-thru to see the Easter Bunny. It was really sweet and fun for the boys.

While we were gone Littleman’s sitter who he had been going to before all of this dropped off an Easter Basket for him. He was so excited and it was such a sweet and wonderful gesture that she did this.

The boys dyed the eggs tonight and were excited for the mystery egg dying set we got. It was a dinosaur themed one which was perfect for them!

Grandma dropped off baskets for the boys and their great Aunt as well. The boys are fast asleep and the Easter Bunny has already hopped over to our house and left the boys some goodies!

Have a blessed and wonderful Easter! Stay safe, stay healthy, stay home, and wash your hands!
