Wow! It’s day 30, a whole month of our stay at home extended break and it’s fitting that today is also Easter.
This Easter was definitely different not being able to be with family, but we were able to make the best of it and “see” everyone through our front door or video chat.
The Easter Bunny came and left baskets for the boys and a fun picture he took. They were so excited for their goodies and ate their fair share of candy.
We went on a drive to get carry out donuts from one of our favorite local donut shops Donnas Delicious Dozen. We got the Easter selection and not only are they fun and adorable, but they are super tasty!
While we were picking up donuts the Easter Bunny snuck back with the help of my brother and sister in-law and hid eggs all over the yard. The boys had a blast running around collecting eggs.
Nana and Papa (my parents) did a porch drop off and front door selfie to say hi to us and the boys and drop off a special Easter gift! We are so excited to have The Wilds added to our zoo membership! We can’t wait to go when this is all over!
I am so grateful for my husband and for him working at a grocery store. He is able to bring stuff home after his shifts and was able to get stuff for me to make a yummy Easter Dinner. A few things were missing from our usual Easter Feast, but it was still super delicious.
I am so grateful and blessed that we were able to have a wonderful Easter celebration. I pray that everyone was able to enjoy this special day as well.
Stay safe, stay home, stay healthy, and wash your hands!
