Days 56-60: Coronacation

Wow, day 60! Can you believe it? We’ve been at home for 60 days now. The boys have only left the house to go through an occasional drive thru or to run around in my parents backyard. Otherwise it’s been here at home. This is still a huge adjustment and we are longing for the day when we can visit and play at our favorites like Legoland Discovery Center, The Columbus ZOO, and COSI. We love to get out and explore our great city, and this has been hard.

However, we go try to keep it fun and entertaining as much as we can at home. Here are our home adventures for the past couple of days.

We’ve partnered with Nationwide Children’s Hospital to Grow Gratitude and promote #onoursleeves for mental health awareness month. You can read more about it here.

I was spoiled for two days by my hubby and three little guys for Mother’s Day. We had an at home crab boil and I loved the breakfast in bed, a new coffee mug and shirt, and my favorite coffee. It was a nice couple of days.

I was invited into two different wine fairy groups and it has been so fun! I was visited by the wine fairy three different times and received so many goodies. The boys helped me to wine fairy someone and they loved it. The whole point is to not know who your wine fairy is and to be surprised and showered with kindness. It’s been a fun couple of days participating in this.

This week marks the last week of school for my dudes and I can’t believe at the end of the week we will have a second grader, a fourth grader, and Littleman will be in pre-k in the fall. This year has been one for the books. I still have to teach one more week of school and then it will officially be summer in this house. I hope I can get more of these afternoon nap time snuggles in too.

Have a great day, stay safe, stay, healthy, and wash your hands.
